I hope this video helps break a few of your stereotypes. I found that most Tattoo artists that I dealt with were very courteous professionals.

The awesome piano music by “A Shell In The Pit” is called:
“Explodeface, Destroyer of Worlds” It can be downloaded here.
The song at 2:30 is called “Poacher Shack”

A huge thanks to Seejay and Leah at Timepiece Tattoo. They were open and welcoming to some random nerd who asked if he could hang out and film in their shop.
Seejay and Leah Tattoo here

Leah’s work can be seen here:

I like following Leah on Instagram, she posts fresh tattoos almost daily, as well as her original sketches and artwork.
Seejay (guy that did the macaroni tattoo) and the owner of the shop.

While you’re at it, I have an instagram account too. I like to post rockets and interesting observations I make. I reserve the right to post “proud Dad” pictures.

A special thanks to Tattoos forever in Ft. Walton Beach Florida for teaching me about needles and letting me film in their shop.

All tattoo equipment is sterilized before and after every use. I edited the video in a non-sequential timeline.

Galatians 5:18 – Seriously!?! Ugh! WHY do churchys have to impregnate everything they do for the "glory of god"? Unsubscribed. Can't you just present good information without it being religious?

  8. Wylie Rhymes says

The most painful layers of my piece were the 6th and 7th layers over my sternum. I have a big piece that stretches from my left front delt, towards my sternum over my collar bone, down directly on my sternum, back to the left underneath my left pec, getting extremely close to my armpit, then connecting with itself. It's my entire left side of my chest. I want to see if I can add a picture of it to this comment. Lol

    I want a tattoo now

  11. Red Roses says

I got my first set of tatoos a few days ago and to be honest it doesn't hurt as bad as you think it does(that depends where you get it) on your arm it hurts a bit but nothing you can't handle. If you want a tatoo and youre a skinny person I would suggest not to get it on your arm.

  12. Ashu says

It's not that bad honestly. For those that haven't got tattoes, the lining is more of a sharp feeling and the shading more of a burning feeling. I personally didn't think it hurt overall, there was some spots where I certainly could feel it more, like knuckles and some other parts.. But generally didn't really hurt? Which is kinda funny, also in the video the needles suprisingly barely penetrates the skin, didn't know that, but I do like watching the tatto being made whenever I get one.

I guess I might just be odd, but to me personally I did not think it hurt. But on some spots it was uncomfortable to say the least, not pain, but just really not comfortable feeling, like if your foot falls asleep and it feels like's not pain but it feels really not cool, not saying it's the same thing but just comparing so you can understand better hopefully

  15. kooldawg6 says

Had I seen something like this prior to my first tattoo nearly 20 years ago, I don't know if I would've gotten one until many years later. 14 tattoos later I still enjoy the feel and sound of getting a tattoo. Sure, the pain is a little on the unbearable side every now and then, but the everlasting meaning behind the tattoo far outweighs any of the temporary pain.

  16. Tripple S says

This makes me want to not get one even more than I already don’t

  21. sketch jennings says

It sabs your skin with ink. Your skin contracts around the needle. The ink is deposited in the skin. A fagisite(white blood cell) wraps up the ink and holds it. Indefinitely. As time goes on the ink is subjected to UV rays. blunt force trauma, etc. So fading is inevitable. Nothing last forever.
